Mediation

Mediation

Arbitration and mediation are alternate means of resolving disputes and are being used more and more in the judicial system as an alternative or supplement to litigation. In addition, many disputes are required by law to be resolved through mediation and administrative proceedings as opposed to the court system. The litigation department maintains its ability to represent clients in these administrative proceedings as well as arbitration and mediation, commonly called ADR. Grimes Galvano’s trial attorneys can assist clients throughout the ADR process. Furthermore, Jack Hawkins, who was a principal in the firm for nearly 40 years, mediates cases for third parties and other attorneys. Mr. Hawkins has been certified as a Circuit Civil and Family Law mediator by the Florida Supreme Court since 2002.

To schedule an appointment with Mr. Hawkins, place a call to his legal assistant, Julie Prall, at (941) 748-0151. To schedule a mediation, visit Jack Hawkins Mediation where you can see his calendar of availability, or you can simply call his legal assistant, Julie.
