William Clague

William “Bill” Clague practices in the areas of Corporate & Business, Land Use and Project Development, Government Relations and Public Finance. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996, Bill has nearly 30 years experience practicing in both public and private sector roles, include three years as the Manatee County Attorney. He earned his law degree from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on Law Review, and as a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. His work for clients includes: negotiation and drafting of various business and commercial real estate agreements, agreements for construction of public and private infrastructure, economic development agreements, public-private partnership agreements, land use regulation and litigation, public finance transactions, complex agreements for private and public business ventures, sales and acquisitions of businesses and assets, and transactions to establish relationships with private equity firms.

Professional Credentials

Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992, Bill Galvano has also been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Florida Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Manatee County Bar Association (for which he formerly served on the Board of Directors).
