Gianna Marie Tomeo
Gianna was born into a large Italian family in Sarasota, Florida. Gianna’s academic journey took her from Florida to New Jersey on a full scholarship to play for the Seton Hall University Division 1 Women’s Golf Team. At Seton Hall, she excelled as a four-year member of the Big East Conference All-Academic Team and National Student Athlete Honor Society (Chi Alpha Sigma). She graduated Magna Cum Laude with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Information Technology Management.
Gianna’s achievements in college earned her a Dean’s Merit Scholarship to the Charles Widger School of Law at Villanova University. While in law school, she served as a writer for the Environmental Law Journal and as a student representative in Villanova’s Federal Tax Clinic, where she advocated for low-income taxpayers in disputes with the IRS. Her commitment to pro bono service through the Clinic was honored with the Dorothy Day Award upon graduation. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Gianna re-enrolled in the Charles Widger School of Law to compliment her legal education with a Master of Laws in Taxation.
In her professional practice, Gianna represents clients in all stages of commercial real estate and business transactions. Her representation involves negotiation, due diligence, deal structuring, licensing, and the preparation of various agreements, such as operating agreements, financing agreements, shareholder agreements and leases.
